How do I switch from one view (parent, teacher, or student) to another?

Every unrestricted account (for users who are 13 years or older) has the ability to use Khan Academy as a parent, teacher, and learner. 

Once your account is created, you can always go back to your default homepage by clicking on Khan Academy or your name and then Learner home in the menu. 

This will take you to your learner page where you can see the subjects you have started learning.

The Teacher dashboard will take you to the coach/teacher page where you can view your students' progress and make recommendations on classes you created.

Parent dashboard will take you to the parent page where you can view your children's progress and activities.

When creating a Khan Academy account by clicking the Teachers button, by default you will be directed to set up a class and will receive teacher/coach related e-mails. If you click on Parents, you will automatically be sent to a screen where you can create a child account or link your account to your child's existing account after creating your own. However, all adult accounts have the ability to create classes and create child accounts simply by changing their dashboard as shown above.

Note: Users under the age of 18 years old will be unable to create child accounts and/or create classes from the Teacher and Parent Dashboards.
